INVITATION TO BID
Bell Buckle Park
Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Bell Buckle, Railroad Square, P.O. Box 276, Bell Buckle, Tennessee 37020 until 5:00 p.m. local time on March 10, 2020 for mowing and grounds maintenance for the Bell Buckle Park site, located on Peacock Street. Bids should be submitted with separate pricing for the following:
1. Cost of mowing to include weed-eating, and blowing debris from trail and pavilion areas.
2. Cost of landscape maintenance to include (a) seasonal pruning as appropriate with residue disposal, (b) scheduled weeding and/or weed killer spray, and (c) mulching of landscaped beds.
The bid must contain SEPARATE bid pricing for the two different projects listed above. Item #2 may be broken down as to each scheduled application. Bids will be accepted for a per mowing cost only. Proof of insurance must be included with the bid.
Bids should be submitted with pricing of mowing entire park area beginning at Peacock Street frontage including all 13 acres of park property area as well as weed-eating and blowing debris from trail and pavilion areas. *The Bell Buckle Park reserves the right to invoke penalties of up to $50 per incident due to damage to trees, tree signs, and/or brick markers from mowers or weed-eaters. **The Bell Buckle Park reserves the right to adjust the frequency of mowing in the event of dry weather/no growth.
Applicants may bid on any one or all of the projects listed. Bids will be opened at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The Town of Bell Buckle reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to accept any bid, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the Town.
