As of 2010 the park includes many amenities including:
- a 1/2 mile asphalt walking trail
the Ward Anderson Children’s Playground
- the Coop Picnic Pavilion with picnic tables and grills
- a Poet's Garden honoring Maggi Vaughn, the Tennessee Poet Laureate
- an amphitheatre completed last summer with a grassy seating area
- landscaping installed around the entrance area, seating area leading to the playground and a rose garden at the entrance to the pavilion
- Memorial trees have been planted throughout the whole park plus hundreds of seedlings.
- Bell Buckle Park has applied for recognition as a Class I arboretum (at least 30 identified species)
- a 1/2 court basketball court just built.
- art includes two sculptures by Russ Faxon and a ceramic playground piece by Sherri Hunter
- ADA approved restrooms and water fountain
